Nomenclatural History
The species Corynebacterium mooreparkense was originally described and validly published by Brennan et al. 2001. This name was affected by Judicial Opinion 81 in 2008. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. Gelsomino et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of corrig. (Müller 1961) Collins 1987 in 2005.

Judicial Opinion 81 affirms that this name is Validly Published. Tindall 2019 asserts that one of the nomenclatural type deposits is a patent strain.
