Nomenclatural History	The species Corynebacterium paurometabolum was originally described by Steinhaus 1941. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. In 1988, Collins et al. established Corynebacterium paurometabolum as the basonym of Tsukamurella paurometabola corrig. (Steinhaus 1941) Collins et al. 1988 emend. Nouioui et al. 2018 . Collins et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Rhodococcus aurantiacus (ex Tsukamura and Mizuno 1971) Tsukamura and Yano 1985 in 1988.
