Nomenclatural History	The species Mycobacterium confluentis was originally described and validly published by Kirschner et al. 1992. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. In 2018, Gupta et al. established Mycobacterium confluentis as the basonym of Mycolicibacterium confluentis (Kirschner et al. 1992) Gupta et al. 2018 .
