Nomenclatural History	The species Mycobacterium immunogenum was originally described and validly published by Wilson et al. 2001. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. In 2018, Gupta et al. established Mycobacterium immunogenum as the basonym of Mycobacteroides immunogenum (Wilson et al. 2001) Gupta et al. 2018 .
