Nomenclatural History	The species Nocardia otitidiscaviarum was originally described by Snijders 1924. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Farmer corrected this name from Nocardia otitidis-caviarum (sic) to Nocardia otitidiscaviarum . Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018.
