Nomenclatural History
|
The species Nocardia sulphurea was originally described by Goodfellow and Lechevalier 1986. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 25 in 1988. Garrity et al. established Nocardia sulphurea as a later homotypic synonym of
Amycolatopsis sulphurea Lechevalier et al. 1986 emend. Nouioui et al. 2018
in 2007.
