Nomenclatural History
The species Rhodococcus chubuensis was originally described by Tsukamura 1982. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 12 in 1983. Riegel et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of corrig. (Tsukamura 1978) Stackebrandt et al. 1989 emend. Riegel et al. 1994 in 1994.
