Nomenclatural History
The species Rhodococcus corallinus was originally described by Goodfellow and Alderson 1977. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Mordarski et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of (Hefferan 1904) Tsukamura 1974 (Approved Lists 1980) in 1980.
