Nomenclatural History
The species Rhodococcus obuensis was originally described by Tsukamura 1982. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 12 in 1983. Zakrewska-Czerwinska et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of Tsukamura 1978 in 1988.
