Nomenclatural History
|
The genus Micromonospora was originally proposed by Ørskov 1923. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Luedemann published an emended description of this genus in 1974. Subsequent emendations were proposed by Gurovic et al. in 2013, Gao et al. in 2014 and Nouioui et al. in 2018.
