Nomenclatural History
The species Actinoplanes campanulatus was originally described by Stackebrandt and Kroppenstedt 1987. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 26 in 1988. Stackebrandt and Kroppenstedt formed this name in 1987 by placing the species (Couch 1963) Couch 1964 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Couch 1950 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Nouioui et al. 2018.
