The species Actinoplanes minutisporangius was originally described by Ruan et al. 1985. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 22 in 1986. In 2001, Tamura and Hatano established as the basonym of (Ruan et al. 1986) Tamura and Hatano 2001 .
