Nomenclatural History
The genus Kribbella was originally proposed and validly published by Park et al. 1999. Sohn et al. published an emended description of this genus in 2003. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Everest et al. in 2013. Sohn et al. transferred the members of Lee et al. 2000 into this genus in 2003.
