Nomenclatural History
The species Amycolatopsis keratiniphila was originally described and validly published by Al-Musallam et al. 2003. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. In 2003, Wink et al. reduced this species to the rank of subspecies to form (Al-Musallam et al. 2003) Wink et al. 2003 .
