Nomenclatural History
The subspecies Amycolatopsis keratiniphila keratiniphila was originally described by Wink et al. 2003. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 92 in 2003. In 2003, Wink et al. reduced Al-Musallam et al. 2003 emend. Nouioui et al. 2018 to the rank of subspecies. Nouioui et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Wink et al. 2003 in 2018.
