Nomenclatural History
The species Amycolatopsis lurida was originally described and validly published by Stackebrandt et al. 2004. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. Stackebrandt et al. elevated the subspecies (ex Grundy et al. 1957) Lechevalier et al. 1986 to the rank of species to form this name in 2004.
