Nomenclatural History
The species Amycolatopsis sulphurea was originally described and validly published by Lechevalier et al. 1986. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. Garrity et al. established as an earlier homotypic synonym of Goodfellow and Lechevalier 1988 pro synon. Amycolatopsis sulphurea Lechevalier et al. 1986 emend. Nouioui et al. 2018 in 2007.
