Nomenclatural History
The species Amycolatopsis thermoflava was originally described and validly published by Chun et al. 1999. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Singh et al. in 2021. Singh et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Kim et al. 2002 in 2021.
