The species Kutzneria albida was originally described and validly published by Stackebrandt et al. 1994. Stackebrandt et al. formed this name in 1994 by placing the species Furumai et al. 1968 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Stackebrandt et al. 1994 emend. Suriyachadkun et al. 2013.
