Nomenclatural History	The species Kutzneria kofuensis was originally described and validly published by Stackebrandt et al. 1994. Stackebrandt et al. elevated the subspecies Streptosporangium viridogriseum kofuense Nonomura and Ohara 1969 (Approved Lists 1980) to the rank of species to form this name in 1994.
