Nomenclatural History
The species Saccharopolyspora erythraea was originally described and validly published by Labeda 1987. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. Labeda formed this name in 1987 by placing the species (Waksman 1923) Waksman and Henrici 1948 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Lacey and Goodfellow 1975 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Korn-Wendisch et al. 1989.
