Nomenclatural History

The genus Lechevalieria was originally proposed and validly published by Labeda et al. 2001. Zhao et al. published an emended description of this genus in 2017. Nouioui et al. transferred the members of this genus into
Lentzea Yassin et al. 1995 emend. Nouioui et al. 2018
in 2018.
