Nomenclatural History
The species Lentzea waywayandensis was originally described and validly published by Labeda et al. 2001. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. Labeda et al. formed this name in 2001 by placing the species Labeda and Lyons 1989 into the genus Labeda et al. 1984 emend. Labeda and Lechevalier 1989.
