Nomenclatural History
|
This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 34 in 1990. The subspecies Saccharothrix mutabilis capreolus was originally described by Stark et al. 1962. It pre-dated the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names but was excluded from those lists. In 1989 the name was revived by Grund and Kroppenstedt.
