Nomenclatural History

The species Streptomyces alboviridis was originally described by Pridham et al. 1958. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Rong and Huang established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of
Streptomyces microflavus (Krainsky 1914) Waksman and Henrici 1948 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Komaki and Tamura 2020
in 2010.
