Nomenclatural History
|
The species Streptomyces arabicus was originally described by Shibata et al. 1957. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Lanoot et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of
Streptomyces vinaceus Jones 1952 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Lanoot et al. 2004
in 2004.
