Nomenclatural History
The species Streptomyces atroolivaceus was originally described by Pridham et al. 1958. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. Rong and Huang established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of (Kuchaeva et al. 1960) Pridham 1970 (Approved Lists 1980) in 2010.
