Nomenclatural History	The species Streptomyces azaticus was originally described by Nakagaito et al. 1992. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 44 in 1993. In 1997, Zhang et al. established Streptomyces azaticus as the basonym of Kitasatospora azatica corrig. (Nakagaito et al. 1993) Zhang et al. 1997 emend. Nouioui et al. 2018 .
