Nomenclatural History
The species Streptomyces caviscabies was originally described and validly published by Goyer et al. 1996. Liu et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of (Krainsky 1914) Waksman and Henrici 1948 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Nouioui et al. 2018 in 2005. Rong and Huang established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of (Duché 1934) Waksman and Henrici 1948 (Approved Lists 1980) in 2010.
