Nomenclatural History
|
The species Streptomyces celluloflavus was originally described by Nishimura et al. 1953. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Madhaiyan et al. in 2020. Madhaiyan et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of
Streptomyces kasugaensis Hamada et al. 1995
in 2020.
