Nomenclatural History
The species Streptomyces ciscaucasicus was originally described by Gause et al. 1983. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 22 in 1986. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. Kämpfer et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of Heinemann et al. 1953 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Nouioui et al. 2018 in 2018.
