Nomenclatural History
The species Streptomyces cyaneofuscatus was originally described by Pridham et al. 1958. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Nouioui et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. Rong and Huang established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Skarbek and Brady 1978 (Approved Lists 1980) in 2010.
