Nomenclatural History	The species Streptomyces cystargineus was originally described by Nakagaito et al. 1992. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 46 in 1993. Nakagaito et al. formed this name in 1992 by placing the species Kitasatospora cystarginea corrig. Kusakabe and Isono 1992 into the genus Streptomyces Waksman and Henrici 1943 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Idris et al. 2017.
