Nomenclatural History
This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 22 in 1986. The species Streptomyces enissocaesilis was originally described by Krasil'nikov 1970. It pre-dated the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names but was excluded from those lists. In 1983 the name was revived by Sveshnikova. Komaki established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of Berger et al. 1953 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Komaki 2021 in 2021.
