Nomenclatural History	The species Streptomyces flavidofuscus was originally described by Terekhova and Preobrazhenskaya 1983. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 22 in 1986. Tamura et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of Nocardiopsis dassonvillei dassonvillei (Brocq-Rousseau 1904) Meyer 1984 in 2008.
