Nomenclatural History
The species Streptomyces fulvissimus was originally described by Waksman and Henrici 1948. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Madhaiyan et al. published an emended description of this species in 2020. Madhaiyan et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Park et al. 2003 in 2020. Komaki and Tamura established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of (Krainsky 1914) Waksman and Henrici 1948 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Komaki and Tamura 2020 in 2020.
