Nomenclatural History
The subspecies Streptomyces globisporus flavofuscus was originally described by Pridham et al. 1958. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Terekhova and Preobrazhenskaya elevated this subspecies to the rank of species to form the name (Kudrina 1957) Terekhova and Preobrazhenskaya 1986 in 1983.
