Nomenclatural History
The species Streptomyces griseorubens was originally described by Pridham et al. 1958. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Komaki established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of Yamaguchi et al. 1957 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Komaki 2021 in 2021.
