Nomenclatural History
The subspecies Streptomyces griseus cretosus was originally described by Pridham 1970. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Lanoot et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of (Krainsky 1914) Waksman and Henrici 1948 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Komaki and Tamura 2020 in 2005.
