Nomenclatural History
The species Streptomyces indiaensis was originally described and validly published by Kudo and Seino 1987. Kudo and Seino formed this name in 1987 by placing the species corrig. Gupta 1965 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Waksman and Henrici 1943 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Idris et al. 2017.
