Nomenclatural History

The species Streptomyces kasugaensis was originally described by Hamada et al. 1995. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 55 in 1995. Madhaiyan et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of
Streptomyces celluloflavus Nishimura et al. 1953 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Madhaiyan et al. 2020
in 2020.
