Nomenclatural History
|
The order Nostocales was originally proposed by Borzì 1914. Castenholz published an emended description of this order in 1989. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Rippka et al. in 1979. Rippka et al. replaced this name with
Subsection IV (Borzì 1914) Rippka et al. 2001
in 2001.
