Nomenclatural History
The species Chlorobium luteolum was originally described and validly published by Imhoff 2003. This name was affected by Judicial Opinion 81 in 2008. Imhoff formed this name in 2003 by placing the species (Schmidle 1901) Pfennig and Trüper 1971 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Nadson 1906 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Imhoff 2003.
