Nomenclatural History
|
The species Azospirillum lipoferum was originally described by Tarrand et al. 1978. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Falk et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of
Conglomeromonas largomobilis largomobilis Skerman et al. 1983
in 1986.
