Nomenclatural History	The species Acetobacter methanolicus was originally described and validly published by Uhlig et al. 1986. In 1989, Urakami et al. established Acetobacter methanolicus as the basonym of Acidomonas methanolica (Uhlig et al. 1986) Urakami et al. 1989 emend. Hördt et al. 2020 .
