Nomenclatural History
The species Acidiphilium acidophilum was originally described and validly published by Hiraishi et al. 1998. Hiraishi et al. formed this name in 1998 by placing the species (ex Guay and Silver 1975) Harrison 1983 into the genus Harrison 1981 emend. Okamura et al. 2015.
