Nomenclatural History
The species Acidocella facilis was originally described by Kishimoto et al. 1995. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 56 in 1996. Hördt et al. published an emended description of this species in 2020. Kishimoto et al. formed this name in 1995 by placing the species corrig. Wichlacz et al. 1986 into the genus Kishimoto et al. 1996.
