Acetobacter intermedius Boesch et al. 1998
into the genus Gluconoacetobacter (sic) Yamada et al. 1998Gluconacetobacter corrig. Yamada et al. 1998. In 2012, Yamada et al. established Gluconacetobacter intermedius as the basonym of
Komagataeibacter intermedius (Boesch et al. 1998) Yamada et al. 2013
