Nomenclatural History
The species Gluconacetobacter intermedius was originally described and validly published by Yamada 2000. Yamada formed this name in 2000 by placing the species Boesch et al. 1998 into the genus (sic) Yamada et al. 1998 corrig. Yamada et al. 1998. In 2012, Yamada et al. established as the basonym of (Boesch et al. 1998) Yamada et al. 2013 .
