The species Teichococcus ludipueritiae was originally described by Kämpfer et al. 2003. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 92 in 2003. In 2009, Sánchez-Porro et al. established as the basonym of (Kämpfer et al. 2003) Sánchez-Porro et al. 2009 . In 2021, Rai et al. established as the basonym of (Kämpfer et al. 2003) Rai et al. 2022 .
