Asker et al. 2011 erroneously states that JCM 14369 corresponds to the type strain of Deinococcus depolymerans. However, the JCM catalog states that JCM 14369 corresponds to the type strain of Deinococcus misasensis. JCM 14368 is the correct stain as stated in the JCM catalog.
